Lorena has her own home
recording studio with industry-standard audio software like Pro Tools and Logic
Pro, as well as a wide range of high-end microphones and studio monitors. Also, Lorena uses
professional quality drum samples and audio loops.
MUSIC COMMISSIONS
Lorena accepts commissions
for composing and arranging broadcast quality Latin music for use in theater
plays, radio and television. Lorena’s wide knowledge of Latin styles ranges
from traditional to modern: Andean, South American, Afro-Caribbean, Urban/Pop,
and Spanish.

professional transcription services. Lead sheet or full transcription in PDF
Format. Transcription and engravement of your music is completed with Finale
2009 music notation software.
STUDIO MUSICIAN FOR HIRE
Lorena is available to do
session work. Contact her about your recording project. She
will provide you with a professional guitar track for your CD. Guitar styles
include classical, Spanish and Latin.

COMPOSING EXPERIENCE
Lorena Garay just finished
composing, recording and producing a 15-track instrumental Latin Ska CD
commissioned by the TV Sports Channel ESPN.
Lorena composed and
performed the music for "The Pueblo", a play about the Américas
written by HartBeat Ensemble, and premiered at the Austin Arts Center, Trinity
College in 2007.
Lorena composed and
recorded the music for the 2007 season of the TV show: "Salu2 Nueva
Inglaterra" by Telemundo WRDM/WDMR Hartford/Springfield.
Original tracks from
Lorena’s first recording have been used by permission on the Homeowners Video
by the Hartford Public Library featuring Hartford Major Eddie Pérez in 2004.
